About Blinds By Design in Lutz, FL

A Local Window Treatment Company Since 1983

Blinds By Design has been helping Tampa Bay homeowners and businesses dress their windows since 1983. We are based in Lutz, FL, and we work throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties, from Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and Land O' Lakes to Clearwater, St. Petersburg, and the surrounding towns.

We handle the whole job ourselves. That means window treatment sales, custom manufacturing, and installation and repair of blinds, shades, and shutters. Because the same team measures, builds, and installs, your window coverings fit the way they should and work smoothly from the first day.

How We Work

We bring samples to your home so you can see colors, materials, and light control in your own rooms instead of guessing from a showroom display. We take accurate measurements, explain your options in plain language, and recommend what will hold up to Florida sun, heat, and humidity. Once you order, installation usually happens within about a week.

Residential and Commercial Projects

We work on single rooms, whole homes, new builds, and commercial spaces. Our product lines include Venetian blinds, mini blinds, vertical blinds, roller shades (including motorized options), cellular shades, and plantation shutters from trusted manufacturers like Bali, Graber, Hunter Douglas, Kirsch, and Levolor.
